April 1 - Cows Take Manhattan Day

Pass on the Gift month kicks off on April Fools Day with a troupe of Heifer supporters dressed as cows parading through New York City’s Times Square. The stunt is silly, but the cause is serious. This month, thousands of Heifer participants around the world will pass on livestock and training to others in need. In the U.S., Heifer supporters can volunteer, host a meal and pass on knowledge about how to end hunger.
